Parade of Lights 2012 Itinerary

2012 ANNUAL HOLLAND FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS PARADE

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 2012

 

Uniform requirements for this parade are as follows:

  1. Marching Hat
  2. Marching Jacket
  3. Clean, White Gloves
  4. Marching Bibbers (your marching pants)
  5. Black Socks
  6. Black marching shoes
  7. Your rain coat

ITINERARY

Reporting Time:   6:10 PM (Please be on time.)  Percussion and Sousaphones 6:00 PM

Reporting Location: Freedom Village Parking lot (enter exit from the 7th/Lincoln St. Opening)

Parade Route:  The parade will proceed west on 8th Street and end on Maple Ave.

Parade Ending Location:  Behind Holland Civic Center.  Pick up:  Maple Ave. Between 9th/10th

Parade Starting time:  6:30 P.M.

**NOTE:  WE WILL NOT MEET AT THE HOLLAND HIGH SCHOOL BAND ROOM.  EACH BAND MEMBER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS/HER OWN TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE PARADE.

WHEN YOU REPORT AT 6:10 PM, YOU MUST BE IN THE REQUIRED FULL MARCHING BAND UNIFORM.

YOU MAY LAYER UNDER YOUR UNIFORM—BUT THERE CAN-NOT BE ANY VISIBLE SIGNS.

WE SHOULD BE FINISHED WITH OUR PORTION OF THE PARADE BY 7:45 P.M.

If your Instrument is on the truck—Please Return to Holland High after the parade to unload the truck!!
