Candy Sale

The annual candy sale will begin on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 and end on Wednesday, October 5, 2011.
One box of candy (50 bars) will be distributed to each student participating in this annual sale on Thursday, September 21. Students may prepay for additional boxes of candy during rehearsals. We will not distribute more than one box per student at one time.
The candy sale will end on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 and all leftover candy or outstanding money must be turned in.
Please use the envelope provided in each box of candy to turn in your money. Make sure you have your name, your class hour and the dollar amount that is in the envelope printed on the outside of the envelope. For your protection against loss or theft and to provide you with a receipt of payment, if possible, please have your parents write a personal check for your candy. Checks should be made payable to: Holland Public Schools.
All money and leftover candy MUST be turned in by Wednesday, October 5, 2011 to be eligible for any of the prizes. Those students having an excused absence from school on Wednesday will have until the day they returned to school to turn in all money and leftover candy to be eligible for prizes.
DO NOT LEAVE YOUR MONEY ON THE TEACHERS DESK.
Note: No candy will be accepted for return after Friday, October 14, 2011, (it will be considered sold). Arrangements for turning in any outstanding monies after October 14 must be made by calling John Reikow (Director of Orchestras and Jazz Studies) Telephone Number 494-2260.

• Candy Cost: $1.00 per bar – $50.00 per box (50 bars)
• Prizes: Top sales person —Ipod (one for band one for orchestra)
• One $50 gift certificate to Best Buy
• Three $15 gift certificates to Best Buy
Prizes will be awarded by raffle drawing. One raffle ticked will be given for each FULL BOX OF CANDY SOLD. (50 bars).
In addition the following prize will be awarded to each student selling the following:
FIRST BOX OF CANDY SOLD—1 bumper sticker
Remember, to be eligible for any prize all money and unsold candy must be turned in by Wednesday, October 5, 2011 or on the day the student returns to school with an excused absence.
